How To Breakfast

Eating well means eating large portions of tasty food that wont leave you feeling hungry all the time. None of this tiny portion stuff, you need to eat to feel satisfied. The first step towards failing to stay on any diet plan is feeling deprived. So why not start your morning with this big bowl of oatmeal, fruit and nuts. There is no added sugar but the fruit is sweet enough that you wont miss it. The secret is to keep the apple raw, it stays sweeter and distributes better. If you have been prescribed cinnamon, this is a recipe you could add it too.

The Recipe:

1/2 cup minute oats

1 cup water

1/2 cup frozen berries

1 tbsp ground flax seed

2 tbsp slivered almonds

1 apple, peeled and chopped

Mix oats, water and flax seed in a bowl. Pop in the microwave for 3 minutes, checking occasionally that it has not boiled over. When it is done it will not look watery or gooey but more solid.

Top with almonds and the apple. That's all there is too it, enjoy!
